Fr. Ahern - picture taken in 1936. Was hit and injured by bell tower /door blown off church in a gust of wind.

Father William Fitzgerald - Pastor: 1865 - 1871

Fr. Fitzgerald died of pneumonia in 1881. He was travelling between Lillis and Beattie on a cold damp day and caught cold. He was the founding pastor of St. Malachy Church in Beattie, KS.
