Gravesite of the founding pastor of St.
Bridget Parish. Fr. John established the St. Bridget Parish in
1862. He left St. Bridget in 1864. His place of burial is St.
Rose Cemetery, Chetopa, Kansas. His date of death is June 27,
1901, age 64 years. After he left St. Bridget, he served the
church in Minnesota and Wisconsin, retiring to Chetopa, Kansas
in 1895.
