MCEDC Goals

  1. Economic Development is to develop community cohesiveness through involvement and acceptance of change, to develop leadership among citizens and to initiate formal planning to promote community growth and expansion.
  2. Economic Development is to create new business opportunities by making available resources pertaining to business development and management and also encouraging recruitment of outside firms, while retaining businesses currently providing service in Marshall County.
  3. To improve and create housing and infrastructure.
  4. The strategic plan will focus to provide a safe and wholesome environment for all of its citizens, with emphasis on educational, economic and recreational opportunities.
